Privacy summary: This app uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. Your API credentials are stored locally on your device and are not sent to Arcane Systems Inc. When you generate an image, the app sends your request directly to the AI provider you selected.

This Privacy Policy explains how the AI Image Model Comparator application ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the App. The App is designed as a local, Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) tool for comparing image-generation models from third-party AI providers.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, receive, store, or sell:

Your AI provider API keys or credentials.
Your image-generation prompts.
Your generated images.
Your local generation history.
Your saved comparison sessions or benchmark results.
Your reference images.
Your provider account balances, billing details, or usage history.

The App does not require an Arcane Systems Inc. account to use its core features.

2. API Keys and Provider Credentials

The App allows you to enter your own API keys or other credentials for supported third-party AI providers.

These credentials are stored locally on your device using encrypted app storage and Android security features such as the Android Keystore where applicable. We do not operate a credential relay or proxy server, and your credentials are not sent to Arcane Systems Inc.

Your credential must be sent directly from your device to the selected AI provider when necessary to authenticate a request. For example, if you use an OpenAI API key, that key may be sent directly to OpenAI as part of the authenticated API request.

3. Prompts, Reference Images, and Generated Images

When you generate or edit an image, the App sends the information required for the request directly to the AI provider you selected. Depending on the provider and feature, this may include:

Your prompt text.
Negative prompts.
Reference images or source images.
Generation settings such as size, quality, aspect ratio, seed, or style.

These requests are subject to the selected provider's own privacy policy, terms of service, retention practices, and content policies. We do not control how third-party AI providers process information that you send to them.

4. Local Storage

The App may store the following information locally on your device so that features such as history, comparisons, favorites, and saved results can function:

Generated images and thumbnails.
Prompt history.
Comparison sessions or "Arenas".
Model selections and generation settings.
Estimated cost and performance metadata.
App preferences and settings.
Encrypted provider credentials.

This locally stored information remains on your device unless you explicitly export, save, or share it.

5. Saving and Sharing

If you choose to save an image to your device, export comparison data, or share content with another app, the destination application or service may process that information according to its own privacy policy.

6. Google Play Purchases

The App may offer an optional Pro upgrade as a one-time purchase through Google Play. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play.

We do not receive your full payment card information. Google may provide the App with purchase status or entitlement information needed to determine whether Pro features are unlocked. Google's handling of purchase information is governed by Google's own privacy policies and terms.

7. Analytics and Advertising

The App is designed without advertising and does not require advertising networks to provide its core functionality.

The App is also designed so that your API credentials, prompts, generated images, and generation history are not transmitted to us for analytics.

8. Third-Party AI Providers

The App may support third-party AI providers such as OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Black Forest Labs, Stability AI, Ideogram, Recraft, xAI, Adobe, Leonardo.Ai, Runway, Amazon Web Services, or other providers added in future versions.

When you choose to use one of these providers, you are communicating directly with that provider using your own account or credentials. Each provider is responsible for its own privacy, security, billing, data retention, and content practices.

You should review the privacy policy and terms of any AI provider before using it through the App.

9. Network Security

The App is designed to use encrypted HTTPS connections when communicating with supported AI providers. We do not intentionally transmit API credentials over unencrypted HTTP connections.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Because the App stores its own history and generated content locally, you can remove local information from within the App where deletion controls are provided.

Removing an API credential deletes the credential from the App's local credential storage. Removing a credential does not necessarily delete previously generated images or comparison history unless you separately choose to delete them.

Uninstalling the App will normally remove its app-private local data from the device. Files you explicitly saved outside the App, such as images saved to your gallery, may remain.

Deleting data from the App does not automatically delete information previously sent to an AI provider. For provider-side deletion or retention questions, contact the relevant provider or use the controls available in your provider account.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers because the App does not operate a user-account or generation backend.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical measures within the App to protect locally stored credentials and data. However, no software, device, or security system can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for protecting access to their device and for managing the permissions, billing limits, and security settings of their third-party AI provider accounts.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, supported providers, legal requirements, or privacy practices.

When this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
