FamilyNest ("we", "us", the "app") helps parents and guardians organize their family's schedules, health information, milestones and documents. We built FamilyNest to keep your family's information private and under your control.
You may enter information such as child profiles (name, date of birth, allergies, notes), appointments, medications, routines, milestones, growth records, school events, expenses, emergency contacts, and documents you choose to import. This information is stored locally in the app's private database and encrypted document vault on your device.
FamilyNest does not request access to your contacts, SMS, phone, precise location, or microphone.
If we offer cloud sync or AI-assisted features, they are off by default and require you to opt in. If you enable them, only the data needed to provide the feature is transmitted, over an encrypted connection. You can disable these features at any time.
FamilyNest is designed for parents and guardians to organize information about the children in their care. That information is stored on the parent's or guardian's device and is not used for advertising or profiling. FamilyNest is intended for use by adults (18+).
Because your data lives on your device, you remain in control. Deleting a record removes it from the app, and uninstalling the app removes its local data. If you enabled cloud sync, you can request deletion of synced data by contacting us.
Documents are encrypted at rest using Android's hardware-backed security. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated in the app.
